Ice 9 - Rock Tribute Band to Joe Satriani

ICE 9, a UK rock tribute band to Joe Satriani, are based in West Somerset, and were formed by the experienced partnership of Gary (guitar) and Steve (bass) with Tony (drums), and have been a three piece since May 2002.

Ice 9's set comprises a selection of Joe Satriani�s releases spanning the years 1986 - 2006 from Not of This Earth up to and including Super Collossal.

We are not a lookalike tribute band and are in it purely for the musical representation of Satriani�s compositions, whose instrumental works show true guitar genius with his ability to come up with anthem after anthem. The band thanks Joe and all the musicians who have contributed in Joe�s music over the years for the innovation and inspiration they have given to those of us who can appreciate such fine craftsmanship.
